Robin A. Williams, Ph.D., MSW, BCPCC
Living Hope Counseling & Coaching, LLC
Many will agree, a Godly perspective is important. As a Christian who specializes in treating all kinds of addiction from a faith, value-based and biblical perspective, I’m delighted to share with you some very important principles in genuine recovery. My business is about lasting recovery. And if we happen to fall, there’s plenty of opportunities to learn from our mistakes.
Dr. Williams utilizes a total life experience approach between both client and therapist, integrating Godly wisdom, common sense and the best in clinical practice. My comprehensive approach is meant to be creative, practical, effective and proven to be time tested. Our focus is to improve your emotional, psychological and physical health and at the same time minimize the blocks associated in becoming more spiritually productive and spiritually “fruitful.”
Previously taking many courses in the Bible, I received my bachelor’s degree in 1985 in Social Work (addiction emphasis) from Harding University that gave me the understanding of how the social environment (family, friends, co-workers, neighbors) impacts our individual level of functioning. After receiving my Masters from the University of Arkansas in 1989, learning about program development and specializing in addiction, I became Board certified as a Professional Christian Counselor (BCPCC) and then getting my doctorate in Clinical Christian Counseling and Addiction Studies in 2009.
All counseling services are value based that includes the highest regard for personal and professional standards of character and integrity that is consistent with the diligence in striving to get the kind of results for reaching your individual life goals.
Robin enjoys the arts, a love for nature and the outdoors, animals, music and the fellowship that comes from others in the recovery community, a local Body of believers and his personal relationship with the Godhead.
